I started going to Coombs Chiropractic after bringing my son in to see Dr. Rob. I was impressed with the care of my son and decided that I needed to take care of myself the same way. I was 8 weeks postpartum and trying very hard to get back to my pre-pregnancy body. I didn't have any current "problems" when I started seeing Dr. Rob, but I did have a history of herniated discs, sciatica pain, and a bad car accident. The one thing that I really liked about Coombs Chiropractic, which I didn't have at any of the other chiropractors I had been to, was that Dr. Rob and the entire staff really got to know me as a person. The treatments and adjustments were 100% personalized towards me and my current needs. The conversations about my wellness and what was going on in my life really helped me recover from my pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Rob advised me on many topics; nursing my son, proper positioning when holding the baby, exercises and stretches to help lose the baby weight, nutrition, and ways to beat the baby blues.
I have learned so much about the importance of chiropractic care before, during, and after pregnancy. I wish I had this information before I had gotten pregnant so that I could have gone to Dr. Rob through my entire pregnancy. Dr. Rob and chiropractic care has now become an integral part of my healthcare and will continue to be as I go through future pregnancies and births. New mothers spend so much time researching what is best for their families and I now know that integrating chiropractic care with my medical doctors is the best option. I would recommend Dr. Rob to any women is starting to consider getting pregnant. The decisions you make before getting pregnant are just as important as the decisions you make while you are pregnant.
